Steribox

A UV-C airborne disinfection device that runs 24 hours a day with people in the room. The radiation is sealed inside the steel body — no fraction of it can reach eyes or skin.

How it works

Sealed, so the room stays occupied

Upper-room UV-C systems throw germicidal radiation towards the ceiling and rely on people staying below it. This one keeps the radiation inside the machine and brings the air to it instead.

01 / DRAW IN

Two axial fans

Noiseless 120 mm service-free fans, 50 m³ per hour each, delivering 170 C.F.M. between them.

02 / IRRADIATE

UV-CHRIS two-stage chamber

Two 25 W UVGI lamps in a chamber lined with “AluShine” refractive material, so the air is exposed from every side.

03 / CONTAIN

Steel 430 AISI body

The case is sealed. Staff and patients are never in the beam, which is what makes continuous operation possible.

04 / RETURN

Silenced outlet

A silencer takes the edge off the discharge, so it is not intrusive during long working hours.

Ozone release is under 100 µg/m³ — half the WHO limit of 200. There is an operating hours counter for service records, and a safety power cut-off.

How the Steribox works: room air drawn in by two axial fans, passed through a sealed chamber with two 25 W UVGI lamps, and returned — no UV leaves the cabinet.

Laboratory results

Tested, not asserted

Three independent test protocols, run under different conditions. The dynamic test is the one worth reading — it was carried out in an open room with people working in it.

Microbacteriological tests
Static test, stabulary with rats — closed room, very high bacterial concentration100% germinal reduction, 20 to 180 minutes
Dynamic test, stabulary with rabbits — open room, people working, very high bacterial concentration92.50% to 100% germinal reduction, 20 to 360 minutes
Dynamic test, microbiology laboratory — clean room air standards100% germinal reduction, 1 to 12 minutes

Steribox or Air Sterilizer?

The Steribox is a sealed UV-C unit — it does not filter. It suits a single room of up to 25 m³, stands on its feet so it can be moved, and installs in minutes with nothing but a power point.

The Air Sterilizer is the other answer: five stages of filtration ending in HEPA, wall mounted, covering 2,500 cu ft. Choose it where particulate matters — operation theatres, clean rooms, burns units.

Where it is used

One room at a time

It installs in a few minutes and needs only a power point, so it can follow the problem around the hospital rather than being committed to one room forever.
